We had a great summer school with cooking and selling (at a snack stall) for all the primary and high school classes; the high school kids learned how to clean fans and also put together an electric plug and socket. The primary camp included learning and practicing rice planting; the secondary camp was combined with a TAF (The Asha Foundation) English camp, and our kids participated in activities alongside older students and performed well. Several students also attended international camps organized by other groups.
We have opened our first M5 (Grade 10) class at the senior high school level, with 14 students. Most of them passed the entrance test to have a special opportunity to receive partial scholarships to study IELTS English. That will be a great asset to them in future years.
Our martial artists are doing great, winning medals in most national and international competitions they enter. Some even took medals in the all-Lao national competition in their age divisions.
Academically also some of our students are also winning medals in international online Maths and English competitions. This year, several students also placed well in the district for the grade 5 primary school graduation exam.
